Meet Marko Calvo-Cruz
Founder of UBI Studio (a brand of BrusselsSprouts Inc.), builder, and instructor of the MIT IAP 2026 Vibecoding class. He started UBI Studio to put the modern AI build workflow into the hands of people who were told they couldn't ship software.

A non-conventional path to the front of the room at MIT.
Marko's path into building software didn't run through a CS degree or a FAANG resume. It ran through being the person in the room with ideas — and watching every one of them stall at the same place: needing someone else to build it.
When the new generation of AI coding tools arrived, he ran an experiment on himself: 36 apps in 30 days. Some were duds. Some shipped. All of them taught him the actual workflow that turns an idea into a working, deployed app — the messy parts no tutorial covers.
That sprint built a community of 500+ on email and roughly 1.2K followers each on X and LinkedIn — non-technical founders, operators, and beginners who'd seen the same wall and wanted out. The invitation to teach at MIT for IAP 2026 came out of that work.
UBI Studio is the version of that class designed for everyone outside the MIT lecture hall. Because the bottleneck for most founders isn't ideas — it's the ability to ship.
